COVID-19 Updates

The Cameron Foundation is adapting its day-to-day operations to continue to serve the Tri-Cities region during this time when the COVID-19 coronavirus crisis continues to unfold. Below are several updates – as additional changes are announced, we will post them here.

  • Emergency grant funding — The Foundation developed three emergency grant programs to assist area nonprofits and school divisions that had been impacted by COVID-19. All three programs have now been concluded.
  • Duke’s nonprofit management classes — Since Duke University has moved to a virtual learning format for all of its classes, The Cameron Foundation has worked with the university to reprogram its local, Cameron-sponsored nonprofit management classes to be offered online. Please visit the Duke Nonprofit Management Courses page to learn more and to register for a class.
  • Cameron office and meeting spaces — In an abundance of caution and in adherence to recommended social distancing, staff is working a hybrid onsite/offsite schedule and The Cameron Foundation’s physical offices and meeting spaces will be closed until further notice. If you need assistance during this time, please contact a member of the Foundation’s program staff via email.
