Grant and Award Submission Deadlines
Letter of Intent (LOI) deadlines are January 2, May 1, and September 1 of each calendar year.
After reviewing an organization’s Letter of Intent, The Cameron Foundation will inform the applicant if it is invited to submit a proposal. The deadlines for submission of proposals are February 15, June 15, and October 15.

If approved, proposals submitted in February are awarded in June; proposals submitted in June are awarded in October; and proposals submitted in October are awarded in February.
2013 Deadlines
Technical Assistance and Basic Human Needs Grant Deadlines
There is no application deadline for the Technical Assistance grant program or the Basic Human Need Emergency Grant Program. Applications are accepted and award decisions are made on a rolling basis.
Recognition Award Program Deadlines
Cleveland A. Wright Award nominations must be submitted by May 15, 2013. If invited, organizations must submit their applications no later than June 19, 2013.
For the Handy L. Lindsey, Jr. Award for Excellence in Organizational Management, applications are due to the Foundation by June 19, 2013.
Decisions for both recognition award programs are announced in the fall, and the award recipients are recognized in the Foundation’s annual October awards ceremony.
