General Information Sessions
The Cameron Foundation hosts information workshops for organizations to learn about the Foundation, its mission, and grant submission procedures. Onsite workshops are offered at our headquarters at 228 S. Sycamore St. in Petersburg and are led by the Foundation’s program officers.
Organizations are encouraged to have a representative attend a workshop to find out more about the Foundation’s priorities and the application process. The sessions are free to attend. To reserve a space at a workshop, you may email us or call 804 732 8900. Please provide the following information when you make your reservation: organization, your name and position in the organization, phone number, date of workshop you would like to attend (when dates are published), and email.

Cameron Invites Joint Applications for Policies, Systems, Environmental Approaches to Address Health Disparities
The Foundation seeks to create opportunities for policymakers and stakeholders to strategically address health disparities in the Tri-Cities region by leveraging their collective power to identify and address policies that promote access to services and resources that would improve poor health outcomes in low income populations. The applicants must comprise a collaborative partnership that includes key policy decision makers, health districts, safety net providers, nonprofit organizations, as well as community and civic groups. In this competitive round opened to localities in The Cameron Foundation’s service area, up to two grant awards of $50,000 each are available to applicants to address health disparities with a social determinants and health equity lens.
